At Transplace, we are dedicated to our customers. Our commitment echoes throughout the company, starting with our CEO Tom Sanderson, and resonates for all Transplace employees each and every day through our mission to “achieve supply chain excellence” and “exceed customer expectations.”
We accomplish this mission by striving for excellence and continuously adding value to our customers through our people, processes, technology and scale. We constantly look for ways to improve each of those areas and work collaboratively with our customers to drive continuous improvement throughout their organizations. It’s striving to move beyond simply transaction-oriented engagements to true strategic partnerships, as demonstrated through our investment in our Strategic Account Management program.
We gauge our success in this mission by customer renewals and expansions, new customer engagements and from the insights and feedback received from customers through formal processes such as Quarterly Business Reviews and our Customer Advisory Board, but also through other forms like industry recognition and awards.
Each year, Inbound Logistics publishes its annual “Top 10 3PL Providers” list, which recognizes the service providers that are “best equipped to meet and surpass readers’ evolving outsourcing needs.” For 11 consecutive years, Transplace has appeared on this list, and in 2013, we were ranked #3 – our highest ranking to date.
What makes this award so special is the voters. The list is determined by votes from the shippers and customers who use these services on a daily basis. This continued recognition is a testament to both the outstanding people we have at Transplace and you – our customers. Because of the dedication and support of our customers, we can accomplish our mission of successfully delivering outstanding transportation and logistics services and be recognized as a leader in the industry by Inbound Logistics.
Being named a Top 3PL for a 12th consecutive year would be an honor, and it would continue to validate that we are achieving our mission to thrill our customers in the pursuit to continuously help your organizations achieve supply chain excellence.
